I think you may owe your audience a discussion about baking soda. Where does it come from? How sustainable is the industry? Is non-aluminum baking soda better than aluminum-ful baking soda in all instances, or just some?
I mean... not that you have a thesis to write or anything. And baking soda's got to be better than sodium laureth sulfate.

Good idea about the baking soda. I've been wondering about that myself....
